Who We Are

Midnight is a teen band made up of 5 talented musicians from Bolton Connecticut. Lucas Sansevero and Joseph Sansevero are brothers and have been playing in bands since the ages of 9 and 11 years . They moved to Bolton and formed Midnight with friends Ian Butterfield and Kirsten Cianci in 2008. They added a new female vocalist in 2009,Vicky Scott. Midnight plays a wide range of Classic Rock, Alternative and Pop Cover songs ranging from AC/DC, The Fray and Evanescence to Taylor Swift and is currently writing some original music to add to their ever growing list of songs.

Lucas Sansevero

Lucas is the lead guitar player for the band. He is 16 years old and has been playing guitar since the age of 9. He has been playing rock bands for the last 4 years. People have called him the next Clapton, and unfortunately for him some of our younger fans follow him around yelling "Its Nick Jonas". Lucas has a mind like a steal trap, he can learn and memorize a song in minutes (really!), which explains why he is an honor student that never has to study!! He also plays on the high school soccer team and tennis team; and is a registered life guard and WSI swim instructor!

Joseph Sansevero

Joseph is the keyboard and bassist for the band. He is wise beyond his 14 years of Age!! He started playing piano at the age of 6 and has only been playing the bass for about two years, He has been playing rock bands since the age of 9. Joe as they call him, is a true thinker, honor student as well as an athlete playing soccer, basketball, tennis and more. Adding to his long list of talents; he is a computer whiz and our marketing guru hooking us up with the Website, Facebook, Twitter and more, Rock on Joe!!

Ian Butterfield

Ian is the male lead vocalist for the band. He has been singing probably before he could talk, and talk he does!! He is also 16 and student at Bolton High School. He has received the Bolton School Choral award for the last 5 years!! He is also a junior black belt in Taekwondo, so don't get in his way!!! He is the driving force behind all of our classic rock songs and knows more classic rock facts than anyone we have ever met!

Kirsten Cianci

Kirsten is the Band's Drummer. Everyone just assumes she is a vocalist and Ian is the Drummer!! She has been playing Drums for only a little over three years, go Kirsten!! She is the life of the party always ready to play (not necessarily the drums!!) Not only does she play the drums, but she is an honor student and gifted athlete as well championing the sports of soccer, basket ball, and tennis.

Vicky Scott

Vicky is the newest addition to the band with us since 2009. She brings some mad vocals to the group allowing us to broaden the range of the type of songs we play from Classic Rock stylings of Ian to a more contemporary style of Rock and Pop. She also has been singing her whole life (all 14 years of it) She is a student of Mercy High school where she excels at more than just singing, she is also a honor student and talented athlete making the girls JV Soccer team as a Freshman and also plays on an Oakwood Premier Soccer Team, as well as Lacrosse and she sings in Mercy High School show choir. Her dad calls her tank (even though she sure doesn't look like one) !!

Roadies

Frank Sansevero is the Sound Tech and Band Coach, Father to Lucas and Joseph Sansevero and "old time" band performer himself. He keeps all the equipment running!! Just ask anyone at Guitar Center they know him on a first name basis!

Michelle Sansevero is the Band Manager, maintaining the website, photos, videos, marketing and booking gigs. Also mother to Lucas and Joseph Sansevero! A family business of sorts!
